Fenix-DA is a privately held company with offices in Eindhoven, the Netherlands and Sunnyvale, Ca. The company was founded in 2006 by a small group of highly recognized EDA professionals.

Fenix-DA has embarked upon developing an all-encompassing QA environment which ensures consistency across the entire designflow including libraries, IP and EDA tools. By reducing the time to bug-detection, the cost of maintenance and repair in both dollars and time is greatly reduced. This allows our customers to use a robust and reliable IC design flow, which can turn around complex SoC designs without schedule disrupting issues from tools, libraries or IP.

The first product in this direction is the CrossFire toolsuite. CrossFire is a unique set of tools which enable customers to validate the consistency and accuracy of the components used in the designflow. Inconsistencies or inacuracies with components such as library views of digital and analog librariy cells, but also inconsistencies with IP blocks or memory instances, cause major delays during the designflow and sometimes cause unexpected delays during tape-out. Fenix-DA has 15 employees and operates in Europe, the US and the Far East.
